“My artwork can be as simple as relaying what my eyes see or have a deep personal meaning portrayed in the piece. I use art to express the inexplicable mess my neurodivergent mind can create and to make sense of my thoughts and emotions during each chapter of my life. I plan to learn as much as possible about each medium and form of art to pass along my knowledge. I am passionate about teaching my future students to express themselves healthily.” Jocelyn graduated from Achille High School in May 2019 while simultaneously completing 22 hours of concurrent classes through Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She then moved to Weatherford in August 2019 to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University and pursue her dream of becoming an Art educator. She served as the SWOSU Art club Vice President during her junior year. Jocelyn plans to graduate with a BA in Art Education in May 2023. After graduating, Jocelyn will then continue her education by enrolling in the Master's program at SWOSU. This piece has already been purchased but it can still be donated towards $20 to ship
