RAINBOW FRAGMENTS is our prize stone from all the thousands we've been privileged to work with. It was also the most difficult!!! The stone is LABRADORITE (which we have been searching for the last three years) and this one displays the broadest rainbow of colors imaginable. The painting therefore required special colors, special techniques and detailing with variegated gold leaf. It was a real challenge, but we are delighted with the impact, once it settled into that deep black space. We may never find another labradorite as exciting as this one!
