Distant Vistas: Ed Sandoval

ARTIST DEMONSTRATION: Saturday, July 23rd, 11am - 3pm.

A renowned artist, Sandoval's family history of hundreds of years in these mountains informs his narrative as he depicts the authentic and nostalgic life of the inhabitants of this beautiful country with impressionistic flair. 

The current body of work which will premier during "Distant Vistas" is considered by the artist to be part of his "Legacy" selection, as he endeavors to express the most remote regions of New Mexico in all its variety, all the while preserving the tie-in with the unique culture.

Winner of the Governor's Award for Excellence in 2012, Sandoval is a well-known and treasured part of Northern New Mexican culture.
